Immediately upon entering the restaurant my family and I were promptly greeted. After being seated our server visited our table almost immediately. She grabbed our drink orders swiftly and made her return faster than we could blink. She jotted our food order and returned with complimentary chips, which were delicious. She refilled our drinks without asking and brung more chips and salsa no question. In under 15 minutes our food had touched our table. Four fantastic meals graced our palettes as our server continued to routinely check in on us. In short, the meals were amazing and the service was excellent.(Decor: The decor doesn't affect my restaurant experience, but there was a cool TexMex theme. The restaurant was jam packed and pretty rowdy, but things were still running smoothly by the looks of it.)

The tortillas were soft n fresh different from other places in a good way. I liked the food n the aesthetics of the restaurant.

First time at Chuys. Sale or server wad great. Friendly and checked and double checked fir my food allergies. The food was fantastic. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Great food and service. Loved then since I lived in Austin. If you're not going out at least buy a gift card to keep restaurants open...

This place is worth trying. They serve large portions for reasonable prices. Consistently clean and with excellent vibes. Will come back again.

The food was excellent I've been to a lot of Mexican restaurant and they do not compare to this place the corn and flour tortillas are homemade every single day. I will definitely go back

As good as any of the Chuys in Texas. Had a great portioned and flavored meal. On Tuesdays they have discount margaritas and free unlimited beef nachos.

It's a nice place, very antique looking through the pictures and the nice mosaics decorating the walls. Its decently priced, food tastes very good, waiters are nice and the music ambient is nice. Its definately a good place to eat out with family or a small casual meeting with a friend.

Fun place!! Lively color, friendly staff and great food. I had a steak burrito. My friend had a southwest enchilada. My husband had a steak quesadilla. All meals were delicious. Our waitress was attentive without rushing us.

I came here with a friend and had a great time. The food is pretty damn good. The prices are very reasonable and the best part is they don't cheap out on portion size. The plates they bring your food on are full to the brim and you won't want to waste any of it. The service was fantastic as our server (Megan) was very courteous and friendly. She stood around and joked around with us for a long time. It was a very pleasant experience all around. I suggest coming to this place if you're in the mood for Texmex and want a comfortable atmosphere.

I've never been to a restaurant with a vibe quite like that one. Though the many paintings were not too my taste, and even found some of them creepy, it helped to set it apart from other restaurants.Now, the service was terrible in that they took an unbelievably long time to bring out our orders, and I'm not talking just about our main dishes. The nachos, the very first thing that should be on the table took longer than 10 minutes to be brought out. Thankfully that was not the case with our drinks, but even then we were kept waiting for five minutes.We finally got our food and the plates were good, not great. I'm not a big fan of Tex Mex to begin with, but I will have to say that I was pleasantly pleased by the meat for the quesadillas and the creamy jalapeño sauce was really good.

Food was tasty. Service was slow. Hostess was friendly & helpful. They sell shirts in front & some were fun.I was confused why the menu & decor had Elvis since this is a Tex-Mex restaurant. Qed

A fun atmosphere. Great spin on the American traditional Mexican cuisine. The salsa is hot and the sauces are tasty.

This is a great place for mex food We had a great server who helped us all pick something good. We had a great meal. Seemed like everything was prepared just for us. It was very special. We will be back next time in windy city

Excellent food..great service. Try the taco salad with the chicken..wow! Jalapeno white dressing is fabulous! We also had the chicken-steak fajita..excellent.. the queso and chips are delicious!

Full disclosure, we thought we were at Chevy's. We kept commenting how the place had changed... That said, the food was exceptional! Some of the best chicken fajitas I've had! And our server Tony was outstanding! We will definitely be going back!

Don’t waste your time. It is way too Americanized. You can find more authentic, less expensive, better tasting Mexican food at pretty much any other establishment nearby. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 since they have multiple choices in sauces/salsa

The service and the food were exceptional. It's rare that the service has a lasting impression but Ryan was the perfect host. The free salsa and sauces were yummy and the chuychanga with boom boom sauce was delicious.

One of my favorite places to dine at. Their staff are incredible and the food is delicious. They have an excellent menu and a great selection of wines to match.

This is by far my favorite mainstream Mexican restaurant..The seasoning in all of their dishes is spot on, their homemade refried beans are second to none. I love their frozen strawberry Margaritas. Their menu isnt huge but what they have is worth it.

Large portion of food is served, while you order they give you chips with fresh salsa and its super fresh and yum. I ordered chikka boom boom it was lil spicy but was worth trying. Like there ambience. Vegetarian options available. Good for family and kids. Great Mexican place 🌯🌮

Their chicken enchiladas are really good. The creamy cilantro dip is yummy. Good Margaritas. We enjoy the atmosphere and freshly made tortillas.

Casual and fun dining! This place has a great staff from the Door to the removal of plates empty of the delicious food there are no complaints here. I have been here at least 5 times in the last year and have brought new people with me every time. I love the retro table and chairs with original and colorful decor. The food is are plentiful and the light delicious chips are refilled if needed. There are multiple sauces available although I have my favorite. I'll be going back. Handicap parking is close to the door and there are benches outside the restaurant if waiting is necessary.
